So are you selling this yourself or through the dealership? So would you take a trade and cash offer?

Selling myself. This is my car not the dealerships. Not really interested in a trade offer though. I have an E90 on a holding pattern here at my dealership.

I have a few questions:
1) Is this completed?
2) Who did it?
3) How were the wheels refinished?
4) Are you still at $22k?
Thanks for any info.

My production date was 4/2002 and falls outside of the bearing recall timeframe. Here is a quote from BMW regarding the recall dates.

"We have completed our investigation and identified that E46 M3 cars with S54 engines produced from October 2001 - February 2002 require engine modifications to be performed as part of a service action. This action will consist of replacing the engine oil pump and connecting rod bearings. At the same time the engine control module will be reprogrammed to improve cold start characteristics, etc."

Soo many questions about the rod bearing I figured I'd call the dealer and get the SCOOP. Service completed 2-24-2005 @ 4495 miles claim number 162640

Bump for a distant cousin of my car.

Seems well maintained, low mileage, I'm already going to hit that mark in a year or two with my '06.

The price is spot on.
