evap problems and advice
about a month a go i had my evap smoked fro a small leak and found the cause to be the charcol canister. i will be replacing with in the next week or two.
i connected my computer to a diag machine and have been pulling these codes on the regular. i have been told these codes are in affect due to the evap charcol canister being inop. can anyone please verify with me on this data? codes as followed P1250- P12XX Manufacturer Controlled Fuel and Air Metering P0340- Camshaft Position Sensor A Circut (Bank 1 or Single Sensor) P0136- O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) P0442- Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak) thanks in advance. |

Best bet is to repair the known problem first (charcoal canister), clear the computer memory and see what codes come back when the SES light comes back on. Then repair those codes one at a time in the direct order they appear on a quality scan tool, not a code reader.
