You can run 19's on the Xi, some just have a preference for 18s.

There are a dozens of guys running 19" wheels. Maybe you meant staggered 19" wheels?

Since Xi's are AWD, it is recommended to run a square setup. I have packaged staggered setups before for guys looking for the wider rear stance. I havnt seen any reported problems caused from running staggered wheels on Xi's before.

Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.

really like the V710s, but want 18s as well...would unload my CHs for these...imagine sizing (widths/offsets) will be the similar to the 18" CSL offerings?

The 18's will be available in 8.5 +35 and 9.5" +45's which will be sitting flush on all 4 corners, no sunken wheels here!

Our VB3's are 8.5" +40's and they work perfectly for the car. Pretty much flush to all 4 corners. Here's a shot. You'll be fine on the 225's.

The interest/pre-order list is growing bigger day by day.

710 in hypersilver and 18" may well work for me too. Damn roads too potholed here to consider anything bigger than 18s.

I ordered a set of v710's all in 19x8.5's (a square setup) earlier today for my 2004 325xi. I cant wait till they arrive. I will tell you how it goes. I guess I will be the first guy to post a pic of an xi with stock suspension and the v710's. I have been looking for a pic for awhile to see how high it is. Im really hoping it isnt too high. I dont want to lower the car.

I asked the mechanic at my dealer if i could lower my car and he said it would be like opening a can of worms. He said "First the cv joints go and you dont want to know the rest." I would love to lower it. But Im affraid cause I dont have too much $$$ and I dont want to void the warranty.

How bad are the roads in IN? I haven't heard any horror stories yet from customers.

Roads in the city are poor to bad. Spring thaw is starting to reveal new potholes and this process will coninue for the next four to six weeks. Roads here are better than Chicago but worse than any where I have been in Florida or south of Kentucky for that matter, but comparable to other midwest states.

Ouch... We are not really smooth sailing here either... We have some nice cities with glass roads but majority of the downtown areas are filled with foot long pot holes.
