DDM Tunning....HID Fog lights.

So........

One of my ballaster goes out, one fog was dead.. so now I have one fog light and one lowbeam on each side.

I live near Pittsburgh..It's always foggy and rainy.
Driving with these lights really doesn't help. It is scary. And I have really bad eye vision... I wore glasses since I was 5 lol. And I am blind without it.
I got scared yesterday. when it rains, I am not able to see any lines on the road...

So. I came home ordered HID fog light with 3 day shipping. Overnight seemed to be way too expensive.

I wanted to buy it from JleviSW where I buy most of the stuff for my car. They are great. Very good customer service and fast transactions.. I personally thank Nick and Ali for a lot of help that they recently provided.

But. they don't have fog.. They suggested me to go with DDM.
So I did.

35W H11bulb 3000K. with fast shipping..from DDM.

I did 3day shipping because I need it before Friday.
I have to drive to Columbus OH at night on Friday..

AND...DDM People are not ansering..
I sent them an e-mail, Auto response came back, stating try to call.
So I called on the phone, no one answered...
When someone finally answered, I was on hold for 10min...
I had to hung up since I was at work.
I called again.. no one is answering again.

It could be my phone..I don't know what the problem is...
Does everyone experience this?

or is it me?

I have heard a lot of good things about DDM Tunning so I don't think it's them..

So if someone at DDM see this thread, please update me with the shipping. My order was 13139...

DDM fails at shipping unless you upgrade your shipping service. If you need something quick consider another vendor, DDM is good if you want great prices though. Calling them is your best bet regardless to get anything sorted out. 858.565.1742

Oh and yes, I tend to hate their customer service too. Very unprofessional, the only reason I keep coming back is the prices.

yea i ordered my fogs on the 4th...called them a week later. i was put on hold for like 15 minutes, but I waited and waited. someone else picks up the phone and reads out my order. i confirm.
he pauses...as if i should hang up the phone now. i ask him when it will ship and he says hmmm...then asks when i ordered but we know invoice shows the date. then he says 'i guess it could go out today...will email you a tracking when it does'.

I have not heard anything from them yet regarding tracking number or shipping confirmation.

man, only if it wasn't so cheap i would not deal with this kinda crap service.

I ordered 4 sets last week. They ended up shipping them out the next day. I kept checking the UPS site, and I swear they don't list any details. Is FedEx the only shipping service that has an estimated time/date of arrival? Anywho, just checked it and after 6 days, it is finally in my state.

DDM Tuning's customer service isn't that great, but they do get the job done. I've purchased over 20 kits so far.

me too!..

I orders a 35w, 6k hid system from them on MARCH 3rd!!!

Opted for the 3 day shipping, which now I know does not mean anything to them...

its been 8 days and nothing, I know its miniscule, but I want my difference in shipping prices back, just on principal alone.

DDM, WHY OFFER DIFFERENT SHIPPING METHODS IF YOU GUYS KNOW YOU WILL NOT MEET ANY OF THEM!!!!

i've been driving around with one headlight for weeks because of this...

lol that is why i don't order through them. they take forever. chad, should have just went with EAS man. they sell the same kit, slightly more. but you have it right away. and warranty is easy as hell. warranty through DDM? lol you ain't going to see it for a long time. in fact, they even lost my HID ballast (and i was a vendor that time) lol

I had a similar problem with their shipping. I put an order in on 2/13. I called on 2/15 in the evening to check status. They told me "that order was just put in 2 days ago" I was laughing so loud on the phone the guy asked what's wrong! "I said it was 2 days and you can't tell me a status? You need to hire more people" He went on to say that would make prices go higher, yadad yada yada. Anyway, 4 days later I get the email stating my order went out. 7 days later my order shows up.

I think I'd rather order my products from a vendor that has better control of their shipping and receiving. Thankfully, nothing was wrong with my order. I would hate to have to send something back to DDM and wait for a replacement part or credit to my account.
