I love the tourture tests they put it through...
Now if only a springfield were that reliable... Nope? I got my Glock 19 because of that site.

A lot of fools are trying this because of what Tommy Lee Jones said in a movie.

and also... i wonder how accurately one can shoot while underwater and in that 1000 rounds video when the guy recocks the gun, is it because it jammed? he does it a few times

Glocks are reliable guns, but I'll stick with my HK
Unless I get a 10mm

I love my HK45, but there is no way it would survive all that.

Most likely it was the ammo. I've been a 1911 guy my whole life, but now also own 3 Glocks (along with HK USP, Sig P226), and I have never had a jam. In fact, I shoot my 9mm Glocks the most, and they are the only pistols I have that have never had a malfuction.
As for Springfield XDs, they are excellent pistols. But when I listen to XD owners talk, especially in XD forums, those guys can never get into a gun conversation without bringing up Glocks, while Glock guys only talk about their guns.

Probably not, but it can take a beating. I've never had a malfunction in my USP. I have around 2000 rounds through it.

There are similar tests with XDs.
The only reason I love the XD is I can shot my hot loads all day without worrying about the gun going boom. 9mm XDm 45 XD Compact.

, Bigbore did that near 2 years ago. He buried the gun for a year and dug it up, immediately firing it afterwards. Tactical response test by Yeager was done about a year ago as well. He broke the recoil guide rod, but the gun kept functioning. Quite impressive indeed. |

Any gun can KB. Not just Glocks. The internet just mystifies it when the .40 glocks blow up because the user shoots lousy reloads through it. Any gun will blow if you double charge the round. An unsupported chamber certainly wouldn't help....but anything will explode.
