Yes. left hand side on the slide.

Glock 18s are more rare in the US than Lambos with Maybach seats.

Glock has everything going except it can't handle limp wristing it. Jams every time. I've been able to jam every Glock I've ever shot if I just give my wrist a little slack shooting it. Now that's a problem, I don't normally use my gun in a situation where it may get run over by a truck, but if I am in (God forbid) a self defense situation and I am wounded and can't use my full strength, it will jam. Same goes for anyone a little weaker trying to use it. Polymer frame gives it alot of nice things, just not this one. And to me it's why I carry something else.

What he means is that he can shoot rounds that are loaded with higher pressure (read: higher velocity). Increased recoil, more stress on the gun (supposedly). Pretty much all properly designed handguns can handle +p ammo, so its really a moot point.

I figured you could shoot anything underwater as long as the ammo does not fail. Am I right ? But it was cool to watch.

Hmm I would have thought that the pressures would cause a few problems.

-The expanding gas would combine with the water to cause greater stress on the barrel

-The water would deform the bullet the second it was fired so as to be completely ineffective

I really have no idea, but

I never thought about the issue with gas.
I don't think pressure would do anything unless you were deep...below 33 feet ( 2 atmospheres or better ).

I was thinking along the lines of the water penetrating the firing cap or moisture being absorbed thru the brass and into the powder.

But yeah, you put more thought into than I did. Maybe that is why James Bond always kills guys underwater with a spear gun instead of a semi or a revolver. I guess he knows more than I do about the subject.

In the movie US Marshalls, he says that you can fire a Glock under water. He forgot to mention that with out the proper training how to do it properly, you can be seriously injured.

Haha yea I guess I tend to think alot about how things work. I would have thought that the bullet would have deformed though...Mythbusters did a test a while back (I think) where they tried to verify if a bullet fired into a pool would damage the bottom and each one they fired deformed on impact with the water and didn't damage the pool. I would have thought that the sudden acceleration would have had the same result even though its submerged in water.

Yea I saw that. If I remember the rifle rounds were worse than pistols because they did not merge into the water, the hit the water, if that makes sense.

Yea and because the properties of water result in the fact that the faster something hits it, the more like concrete it is. Hence, faster rifle bullet --> more deformed.
