Angel Eye Issue

Ok, I have a weird issue. My Pedator Chromiums are acting up and I'm not quite sure what the cause is. The remote function works just fine. When I press my key fob they turn on or off when locking and unlocking the car....but they won't come on at all when I turn the headlights on. The always on feature isn't working.

Any suggestions???

Thanks,

Brian

This seems to be a problem with the connection going into your ECU, since it's grabbing power from the footwell lights. The connection to the ECU might be loose. Open it up and see if it's fastened tightly into the clipper.

Yeah that's what I thought too, but that connection looks good.

I'm going to try replacing the relay to see what happens.

This is the least of your problems wait until they catch on fire. Thats what happened to me and i returned the remains to JLEVI and they wanted to charge me for a replacement LOL, pathetic. I sent them almost a month ago and in the end after some arguing they decided to send them at no cost, few weeks later I still have nothing.

ok i got a new relay....and i still have the same issue. wtf.

They still come on via the remote kit, but they don't come on for the "always on" position.

could be that your wire isn't pushed snug into the clipper

Bad ground possibly. Recheck the fuse and all the connections.

Your issue is probably an angel eyes ballast - you have CCFL angel eyes?

my cousin put them on for me. been tryin to get in touch with him. not sure if their ccfl, but check this out. normal color of them is blue. The drivers side stays on when drl's are on while passenger side isnt on. when i turn on the headlights, 3 out of the 4 eyes are lite, but 1 stays the normal color while the other 2 are amber and the last not even lite. ps how can i tell if their ccfl's?
