SES P0011 and P0014, what is my situation?
I just got inspection 1 done and about 2 weeks later my SES light comes on. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes the car doesn't pull as hard as it normally does? Especially after 5k rpm's. My car was getting the e-brake fixed and I asked my mechanic to check why my engine light is on. He connects the car to his equipment and tells me 2 codes, P0011 and P0014. He tells me that I need 2 cam sensors, I also have a BMW tech who does work on my car and he told me he'd have to hook my car up to his computer because he says the P codes are usually all B.S. Is this true, or can I go by my regular mechanic??? Anyone else had the P0011 and P0014 codes? If so what was done to correct it? I'm hoping it's not a major thing that's going to cost me and arm and a leg.

what do I have to do to fix this, and will it cost me an arm and a leg?

I had the same problem and replaced the cam position sensors, code gone.
