What size tire will fit?

I have my sights set on the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Position
Only, it doesn't come in my stock size of 205/50/R17

I could get 215/45/R17 or 225/45/R17.. but will they be too wide for my rims? How do I find out how wide my rims are? I think the 215/50/R17's are to big a profile for my style..

I would go with a 215/45.

Thanks for replying! Why would you choose the 215?

My Ride: Is TiAg
The 215/45 will keep the same overall diameter of your current setup. If I am not mistaken your wheels are 7 inches in width so a 215 is perfect.

225/45R17 will keep the correct overall diameter and fit wheels as narrow as 7".

I would agree with Gary, 225/45/17 works perfect!
