Did you need to buy a new fan? Manual transmission cars don't need it.

You guys obviously didn't read all of what I wrote. Cuz I clearly says all I bought was the fan clutch blade... Only $35. A new electric fan assembly costs over $400. I just spent $3k on a conversion... And I don't need an electric fan for the time being. When you do the swap yourself, then you can say what you want.

Wow thanks, I appreciate it. I'm sorry that I'm an 18 yr old high school student that doesn't have the time or resources that some of you people have. Sorry that I even posted this diy, I should just take it down

oh come on - dont get butt hurt when someone disagrees with you...

you will find that the loud fan blowing almost helicoptor sound will get annoying as you rev and in between gears...and eventually you will swap in the elec fan setup

I just put a lot of time as effort into making this for you guys, I know I should have put an electric fan in the car but that's money I don't have to spend. The car sounds just like normal for the past 3 weeks I've had it. No helicopter or airplane noises or whatever...

If you feel that what I've done is dumb, then that's your opinion. But again, I am a kid, I don't have the kind of money you guys have. The extra $400 for the electric fan just isn't justifiable right now.

I didn't call you dumb. I just asked a question. Here is another one, Why didn't you get a used one? They aren't worth 400 kahunas, check this one out.

i am pretty certain that is the fan that goes in front of the radiator as an aux fan for auto - not the actual cooling fan for manual
