I picked up a set of Eagle Eyes from DDM Tuning. They look awesome. Install was cake. The only thing that sucked was waiting for them to come in the mail. Shipping is horrible from DDM.

Eagle Eyes are definitely the way to go. I had them on my 01 325i and they are definitely the best plug and play solution for an OEM look.

Hey Nick,
I was reading the product description and saw this "No Adaptive Function at this time".

What does that refer to?

Adaptive Function refers to the feature that came on the coupes (04+) where the lights will illuminate extra bright if you hit the brakes hard.

Oh ok, thanks.

Also, probably a stupid question, but does the price on the site include the PAIR of taillights or is it $175 for each one?

While we're all still here I was wondering if the outer ring lights up when the brakes are applied or are they always on. Also when you hit the brakes do the main lights (between the rings) get brighter?

Guess what I'm really looking for is pics with the brake on and off.

Thanks again, and sorry to jack your thread MITB

The outer ring lights up with the parking lights only, the inner lights are also lit with the parking lights and become brighter when you hit the brakes. Here is a shot comparing the brightness to OEM (Eagle Eyes on Left, OEM on right) with the parking lights:

Brakes on:

- No issues with fitment
- No issues with flicker
- No sure about the "lights out error" since my LED license plate bulbs previously have been triggering this error.
- Right side black plastic "rain guard" won't sit flush, but I'm going to try again later

Thanks umnitza for great service and fast delivery!!

iPhone pic... I'll take better pics when I have time.

Installed without any problem.
No error message displayed at all.
Thank you very much Umnitza.
