need help w/expansion tank leak

I have a 2000 323i I had an expansion tank crack and blow out so this last summer I did a lot of coolant maintenance about 6 months ago. I replaced thermostat, hoses water pump, expansion tank and sensor. I followed the bently manual.

It now looks like the bleeder screw is leaking right in the middle of the "+" on the head of it. I noticed a puddle under the car a few days ago. So I topped of the coolant and drove to work. temp was normal and heater worked fine for the 200 mile trip to work. now everytime the car gets hot I open the hood and see coolant leaking out of that screw head. I loose about a quart everytime.

Is there some type overflow hole/ over pressure built into the middle of that screw or something.

Those screws do crack - buy a new one and see if that cures it.
