What tattoos do fanatics got? Post some pics

Looking at getting another tattoo done, so I might be adding to this thread in the next month or two

I'm hopefully starting my left sleeve in February!

i was going to bump this thread asking for advice. im looking to get my first tat. ive had a lot of ideas but nothing towards what i really want now.

- i want a tattoo that symbolizes all of the women in my family (mom passed away when i was young so my aunts and grandma raised me)
- probably back, but im open for suggestions
- want to incorporate an old signature from one of my moms old checkbooks i found.

any suggestions? size doesnt matter.

I don't have any suggestions in response to what you should get; however I would strongly advise you to have a larger-sized tattoo designed for the writing. A lot of script or writing tends to get warped as you age, so definitely don't get something too small.

well the only writing would be the signature. im open to suggestions on everything else. thanks for the input!

Thinking of getting a half sleeve in a year or so

Got my first tattoo while vacationing in Hawaii. Haven't taken a good picture of it yet, so I'll post one up later. Now I understand why tattoos are addictive, I'm kicking myself for not getting the entire upper portion of my arm done while I was there.

Find the best (in your opinion obviously) tattoo shop/artist in your area. Go in with your idea and samples of the signature and let them sketch something up. A lot of artists are really good with that. I've compiled a few pictures for my next piece and have a co-worker who actually draws tattoos for people. I'll let him design it first and then go back and re-work any parts I dont like too much.

My tattoo plans have been in a holding pattern for a bit. Was hoping to have my right sleeve completed by now, but my tattoo artist/friend fell off a ladder from about 15-20 feet up while doing graffiti, broke his wrist, tore up his knee, etc, so he's been out of action for a couple months and probably will be for another few weeks at least.
