LEDs flash too fast
Hey guys.
I recently got a set of LED bulbs (front and side) from jlevi's. I got the resistors too, and I wired those in parallel, per the instructions. However, when I signal either left or right, all my lights flash very fast. This includes my front turn signals, side markers, and rear LED tails (which I got installed previously with no issues). They flash twice as fast as they normally do. When the hazards are on though, they flash normally. Any idea what's up? |

did you use taps? if so, check your taps. they probably didn't pierce through the insulation enough. i'd usually strip the wire all the way around then put the taps on.

Exactly, sounds like the resistors aren't tapped correctly. Do they get hot when you activate the turn signals?

Yep, looks like that was the problem.
Stripped the wires and bit and put em back in the taps and they work now. Thanks guys |
