yeap for sure.

Would you share the location of the maps for fuel enrichment and timing?

I'm using WinOLS and protuner. I have the same MS43 DME that you seem to have successfully tuned.

Hey everyone last I talked to dennymedeiros he informed me he has found 3 maps so far. He has been pretty busy with his new home and getting ready for his baby. but he is still working on it. I have also been speaking with other tuners trying to recruit help. As things progress I will posting updates here and the project page e46.myevilstar.com. If any of you know dme tuning and would like to help please get in touch. This is a community project for real tuners and enthusiast, NOT to be hacked an Ebay for a cheap buck.

I have one of my BDM files on hand that i could send to anyone wanting to take a look at MS45.1 it's a turbo tune for 5psi and 24lb injectors.
Since he is using winols. Let me know as i am not a tuner but I can supply a base file that would be a starter for turbo/superchager cars.
Unfortunately i can not fine my original file but i am working on contacting the tuner for it.

I'm very glad to hear that you and others have decided to take this on. I've just about given up on Shark Edit ever being released. I don't care what the reason is. It isn't available and no one but Conforti knows when it will be (and he may not know either). I don't have any programming skills to contribute (mechanical engineer here) but I'm more than willing to buy a KWP2000+ and be an early beta user for it. Good luck and good (map) hunting.

Yes, I have been very very busy lately. But everytime I have a few minutes here and there (home and work) I work on finding maps...Ive become the great MAPHUNTER...LOL. Its a serious amount of work...but once they are all found they are found and we can start the REAL fun part TUNING!! I just never tough I would have to become a programmer...

In the meantime I could certainly use your files you have now and used to compare to find more maps. I only have 3 so far....

5PSI and 24lb injectors map is going to be a VERY good base at finding maps with the MS43 am working on right now.

I wish I had something to contribute, unfortunately my programming skills are more web-oriented. I'd be happy to hook up my car to download maps, but I'm sure it's not terribly unique. Maybe I can convince one of the local BMW shops to get involved... ?

I am constantly amazed that the BMW community doesn't have the kind of tuning capability and discussion that the subaru, mitsubishi, or honda folks enjoy, considering how essential tuning is in an N/A engine. I don't necessarily need to be able to tune it myself, as much as I just want to have someone local (who knows what they're doing!) be able to put the thing on the dyno and tune MY car to MY mods, without a bunch of guesswork and mailing things back and forth. (how silly is that?)
