Just put some E60 wheels on my xi - pics inside

I found a set of e60 wheels at a very good price on craigslist so I decided to buy them and try them on my car then sell them if they didn't work.

They are 17 by 7.5 with 20mm offset. The tires are 225/50/17

Suspension is stock unmodified. Been driving on them for 3 days now with no issues. No rubbing either. I may catch some flak around the board be so far I have been getting many compliments about the car since I put these on along with the tails. I think I am going to keep them.

BTW: my car is an xi, dunno if a non-xi can pull this off.

Love these wheels, much nicer wheel than the style 73's

Now that's called flush..

I hope you don't plan on lowering that 4x4 otherwise you'll have crazy rubbing problems.

Indeed. Those are very tall tires.

Looks good, kinda reminds me of an Audi Allroad with those tires. Next set you may want to go with a shorter tire, it will look perfect then.

On a sidenote, my E46 is on X5 wheels, but with 225/45-17 tires.

Yeah those 225/50-17's are a little too big for the car but its not that bad. They came with the wheels so I'm gonna keep them until they are gone then I'm going to put some 215/50 or 225/45. I want to keep a lot of sidwall on the tires because the roads are not that nice where I am moving to and I dont want any problems with bent wheels.

Whoa, don't like the way it looks but it has potential I suppose (like smaller tires as you said). Some sort of suspension modification would look nice, even if it is ZHP springs or something!

Its going to be a challenge keeping that black paint finish nice with all the sand, muck, small stones, etc that are going to be flung onto your car from those front wheels sticking out so much... You might seriously consider adding some sort of mud flaps.

That being said, it is a unique look and thanks for sharing the pics!

^What Gary said, your paint is in for quite a bit of damage.
