adds a little weight to the lower end of the gun, giving the shooter a little more control over the gun. It also helps guide the magazine in the well for faster reloads...it's for competitive shooting.

Had a chance to buy the shotty a few weeks ago at a gun show, but I didn't "pull the trigger," so to speak...

Congrats on the purchase

Oh man, it's a relief. You know all the crap I went through to get this thing. The stock took the shortest amount of time to get, and it is a restricted item that had to be shipped from Italy. CRAZY!!
Anywho, I'm gonna break her in next week with a couple boxes of slugs and buckshot.

Did you have to do anything in particular to have it specially ordered?

That's a great price!

Nice. I love my G34. Now you need a full length tube on that M4.

That's a great price!
That price is LE pricing. I ordered it through my local Law Enforcement supply store. Glock has separate pricing and production for LE. The gun was ordered and received in a span of less than 3 weeks.

For the normal civilian to order a Glock, I heard the wait is 2-3 months for backlog. All LE orders get priority, as with most firearms manufacturers (like Springfield and HK, etc).

I'm not sure what you can get that for normally, but I would guess somewhere around the $550-600 range for normal pricing.

I'm working on the tube. I'm tempted to get a full-length Titanium replacement tube, but I heard it's a PITA to install. The Ti tube holds a total of 7rds.
The Benelli rep that I talk to suggested that I get an extension from Nordic Components, as they were a perfect fit. It's a +2 extension, making it only hold 6 in the magazine tube. Not sure which way to go on this one...

So, theoretically, what happens when you retire from LE? Do you have to surrender restricted items like the stock or are they yours to keep?

And wow you got an amazing deal on the Glock! I wish I could pick one up that cheap...if I could, I'd pick it up today.
