2pc Style 5's on the 328

Hey guys I just got the tires fitted on my style 5's...took me long enough. Anyways, some people said there was no way I was going to fit the et20 style 5's on the E46, well, to those of you that said it couldn't be done.... I think that they look pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Let me know what you guys think too. Please take part in my poll on these wheels as well.

Thank you! I was nervous before I bought them because most everybody said that there was no way I was going to get them to fit, but the wheels are just so hot so I had to try it. Sure glad I did!!!

I've been wanting to throw a set on my car for a while, and i just wasn't sure, but you have just convinced me!! what tire size??

and i like the stahlblau bolts idea! but that means you gotta take these apart... i say just leave as-is. looks great that way!

Oh, snap!!! blue bolts might not look half bad. I am going to consider that too. Thanks for the compliments guys. Okay, so the offset of the style 44's that were on my car before was et47, and the style 5's are et20. That is a huge difference so in order to make them work you have to fit much smaller tires on. On my 44's I had 225/45/17. When I bought the style 5's they had 245/45/17's because they came from a much bigger car, but that didnt work at all on the E46. So I ordered some 205/45/17's but I am thinking that the possible combos...depending on what type of suspension you are running, are as follows:

205/45/17
205/50/17
215/45/17
225/40/17 - you might be able to fit these in the rear if your fenders are rolled all the way, but I am not positive.

Do they make the style 5's in an 18? If so, how wide are they, and what is the offset? Still et20? If they are wider than 8.5" you may need to just cut your fender out . But seriously, they may not fit if they are wider than 8". I am not the resident expert though.

Those sound sick...it would have to be the 18x8's unless someone was conducting project widebody!

Nope not yet....hence the poll. I had the damn things for a month before putting them on the car too, I totally could have done it in that time frame. So, the wheels are in good condition but the clear coat really sucks so I am going to have them refinished but am going to wait a couple of months til I do it. I have spent a grip on my car so far. This car was completely stock when I bought it except for the ECIS intake. And I bought it in November 08'. Doesn't look too bad for only having it for 6 months huh?
