Went for a drive....

This isn't going to be your typical build or mod post. I wanted to do something a little different and just showcase my car in some areas that are close to my heart. Took a ride today and decided to shoot some shots of my car in a few locations in Litchfield County Connecticut. Really IMO the most beautiful area of the state although I am partial considering I live here Litchfield County is in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and there are some really beautiful places here. Its also the county that Lime Rock Park is located in. Also some of the greatest roads in the country according to European Car Magazine (not sure what year or # its was) Pictures should speak for themselves. Plan on continuing this post as I explore a bit more.

First stop Saville Dam in Barkhamsted CT 5/28/2016

Had to be quick with this one. Busy road and not exactly legal to park here

Next stop American Legion and Peoples State Forests also in Barkhamsted CT 5/28/2016

Last stop for the day. Hogback Reservior Boat Launch. Barkhamsted CT 5/28/2016
This is an area off of the main Colebrook Reservior which has an interesting history as it used to be a small town.

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I had fun taking them.

Thanks This was all within a 5 mile radius. Probably going to head north next towards the area Lime Rock is in. Really beautiful country up there.

Gorgeous, I've been to the Berkshires in mass and part of NY and absolutely love them, so beautiful. Never been to the CT part however, but it looks equally as awe inspiring there!

Very pretty out here. Not quite as dramatic as being in the MA portion but still a beautiful area. Its the least populated area in the state so lots of small towns/villages in the area. Lots of Bed and Breakfast's. Great area for camping and fishing (lots of lakes) not to mention Lime Rock Park BMW did name a car after it. Been to a couple BMW CCA events there. Always a lot of fun. And you cant beat the roads. Truly some great driving roads out here.
