Uuc tse3 full cat-back group buy????

OK... Heres what this is all about. Over the past few months, I have been searching continuously for the full cat-back TSE3 to go on sale by a member. Mostly because as a college student, the full price for a new system is a little high for me to afford.

Throughout the search, I have noticed more and more people placing WANTED TO BUY ADS for tht TSE3, and was curious about what needs to be done in order to make a bunch of people happy. I know that for me living in CT is harsh because my car is only out for a few months during the year, but now that the spring time is rolling around, I am excited to spend some money and throw some mods on my car. I am almost certain that I am not the only person that feels this way.

So I had the idea, to just write something up to see what kind of interest arises, but mostly to find out if any sponsors can design some sort of great discount/group buy pricing on this system.

had it on my 330i, sold it when i got my M3 and it's a good thing i did, because it sounded better than my M3 does.

well I'm glad to see that people are stopping by to see what I had to say but I would like to hear if anyone has advice on how we can make this happen. plus I know there are more people out there that are interested so let's get this going!!

Not going to happen fellas. UUC is one of those companies that does not do group buy pricing. Do some searches and you'll see that this topic comes up every once in a while. Regardless, their prices are competitive and they do run specials that cut prices or make shipping free.

I helped run a group buy a while back for some stuff on the Mazda. You have to work it out with the company you wnat to get the parts from, and usually they want a minimum of promised orders, like ten at least. Usually thats when they can drop the price while making a bit of cash still. You'll also most likely need to set up an escrow account, I dunno to many vendors who will let you hold onto the money and ship out parts, nor do I know too many buyers willing to give cash to some random guy on the hope that he will pass it on to the vendors.

If you can come together on a minimum number of buyers, they'll work out a price that works for them that is a percentage lower than the usual cost of the item at stake. Then, you set up a final date for the orders to be in, or at least a general time line to get the minimum amount of orders. Then you post it up on the forums, and you get people to send the money to the account. Pretty simple really, just need to work out the details.

And here it looks like the real answer to the OPs question. UUC would need to open to a group buy in the first place, and it doesn't look much like they are.

I read your post. and understood it perfectly. If for some reason UUC decides to do a group buy, I was meerly saying that i would like to be a part of it.
