New Z4 model is up on the bmw website to build!!

OMG i'm so excited for this new car i can't even control myself. Its probably one of the hottest things i'd ever seen, and now it's on www.bmwusa.com to build. And it has an ivory white leather option!!!!! But it costs $51,000 for the 35i

Yes, the new Z4 seems to be a bit much. Comparing the prices on the website, you could buy a fully loaded 335i convertible for ~$2500 more than a fully loaded Z4.

In the new marketing nomenclature, sDrive is RWD, xDrive is AWD.

Z3 was somewhat of a joke due to its lack of performance but it sold really well because the low performance allowed for a lower price tag. This go around, they went in the opposite direction and, while powerful, made it wayyyy too expensive. I can't see that many people spending 60k on a weekend toy that, isn't in the least exotic.

If you're coming out to Bimmerfest 2009 sponsored by Horsepower Freaks you're in for a real treat. Two 2010 pre-production show car models (the same ones that were show at the NY Auto Show) are going to be at Bimmerfest! BMW NA is bringing them out for Bimmerfest attendees to check out in the flesh, or in the sheet metal I should say

See everyone May 2nd,
Tim

you know, bmw isnt coming out with a z4 M model, and this is probably why. besides the fact that its got the n54 powerhouse what more can they do to the little thing. its super attractive though, nonetheless. i'd love to have one of these for my next car, well either that or an 850cis =) but considering its a 300/300 w/ 400+ potential hardtop convertible, i guess 50 grand is too much. they shouldve given the twin turbo an M badge, it wudda sat better

I like this gen Z4 the most , its pricey but new BMWs have hardly been reasonable for a long time so its not that surprising. Esp for a hard top roadster. I cant wait to see these things modded.

Well, when you compare it to the Z8 or something, it's really not all that expensive...

Wow! Starting $47K for the 255hp 3.0. Yeah, it has certainly moved up in the world. I don't want to know how much the M versions will be.
