09 X5 diesel

Wife just got one as a loaner at the local dealership. WOW! I really love driving my wife's 6spd X3, but this thing is nice. I still wouldn't buy one because you can't get a manual tranny, but it is so tempting to spend the money. (Yes I know they try to upsell you when you get a loaner.) The wife is in agreement and refuses to give up her manual X3. (Saves me money.)

All BMWs are available in a manual, doesn't mean you see them very often though.

They also made manual X5's (E53). I thought that was the coolest thing ever

I like much more petrol engined X5 because they are quite rare. I saw at least 100 diesel X5 a day

the new X5s are nice but riddled with problems, they are always coming in for repair of failed electronics.....but the best engine is that 4.8L V8
