Can i tell my tire size by my vin #?

So i caught a flat (2nd one within one week). i used my spare on the tire i caught a flat on a few days ago, so now i am screwed as far as backups go. I am looking to order a new set of tires, but right now my car is parked in a toys r us parking lot and i cant tell what size tires i need. according to, there are 2 sizes that come with my model 02 325ci : "205/55-16" and "225/50-16". When i check and enter the last 7 of my vin#, it seems like my size is the 205. is realoem taking into consideration my vin# and figuring out what size i need?

heres a link to my model on realoem

the 7 digits of my vin are PG56325

if anyone can verify id greatly appreciate it as the last thing i want to do is order the wrong tires.

also is tirerack my best bet?

E46's were sold with both those sizes; what size are your current tyres? You can put either size on the 16" wheels.

Yeah, there are couple of tire sizes you could have. You should go out to your car and check the tire size just to be safe. Having mismatched tires isn't particularly safe.
