Hopefully, like I said, if it were closer to 100, I'd consider it.

Alright, guys. Ron is getting this going. Pricing is confirmed at $185.88, but he's seeing what other sort of discount he can get us. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT WANTS THESE. We'll have to have all 15 people paid in full before this will go through. So, let's get serious about this. Certainly out of the thousands of people on this forum, someone will want these. Put it in your signature. Let's get it done! Ron will chime in with any more details. He said for maximum discounts, payments will be made to me, and all 15 kits will come directly to me from Samco. Come on kids, get to work. Sell these like Thin Mints.

As soon as I have this 100% worked out, I'll start a group buy thread. Woot.

They can't get the tooling made to create the product until we have people to purchase it.

Yep, this will replace the whole boot from the throttle body up to the MAF.

The product won't exist until we have 15 people paid in full. It's Samco, so it'll be quality. I have no doubts about that. I've never seen a Samco piece that I thought was crap.

If I didn't just (and by just, I mean two weeks ago) purchase both of the boots from the stealership, I would totally be interested in this. If this deal is still going in a year or so I'll be on board, but I can't afford to replace these again in the near future.

Everyone that is interested in these, please copy/paste this text/link in your signature (It will look just like the text in my signature).:

Samco Intake Boot Group Buy

If we get at least 5-6 people who are regular posters running around with this tag in their signature then we'll pick up 15 buyers really quick. Thank you

Also, just in case anyone here still doesn't get what part we are talking about yet, it is going to look like the M3 part that Samco sells except for that it will be longer because it will go all the way from the throttle body to the MAF sensor.

M3 Samco boot:

E36 Samco tube that is longer like ours will be:

But where's you signature link Aggie?

Also, everyone please realize that this part has benefits other than just increased durability. The Samco tube is also MUCH smoother than the OEM part and should help with better airflow.

Durability is important though. I don't want to ever have to deal with this problem again, here's a small crack on my 330's boot at 38k miles that was causing a SES light to come on, on my dash:

I'm just making mine out of alummium for my 530 for less than $60 with silcone couplers.

These things cost so much you guys because of the tooling that needs to be made and the fact they arent sure if they'll sell more than they are asking in the GB.

I will definitely buy one these... when I have the money. In the meantime I will gladly post this on bimmerforums to try and get the buyer count up. That price is very good for a Samco product!

I'll make my own. It's funny how BMW have to pay for something that normally comes with most intake Kits.
