one thing I would like to see, is maybe seperate areas for the different models.. (e30 area, e36 area, e46 etc..) It would definitely make for good pictures..!

The differentiation would be good in most cases. But I'm sure it's not necessarily what everyone else wanted or cared for. At one point, the guy that told people where to park mentioned that there's a large group of e30s on the other side and that he can park there if he wanted to, the guy decided not to. Also, someone might want to park with friends that have different cars. Some might even feel segregated from the whole community lol

And also, with the number of different models there is, it would be really hard to coordinate everyone

But I def see where you're coming from, and I'm all for it!

i think it's because you came in from the other side. on our side, they did not allow us to park with each other, at least all the other years we could pick and choose

Easy - because its NOT so obvious. Take a look at the event info below. Any mention of $40 parking? Nope. If you clicked on Event Details, any mention there? Nope. Go to Registration - any mention there? Nope. You have to click on "Attendee FAQ" to find that pricing structure of $40 for concourse parking. Did the attendants mention this? Nope. They said flat out: "before 9am, its $40". Thats it.

This was my 7th Bimmerfest and so I didn't bother to click on Attendee FAQ as that should be for newbs. It used to ALL be free (entrance + food), until they started charging the per car fee in 2006. Alot of other people I talked to didn't know either. I posted my gripe about this on the Bimmerfest forum. IMO - the Bimmerfest events page is too cluttered with banners. I don't like how its setup within the Forums. It should be presented more like a website with important information front and center.

I have not seen any pics of my car . just another silver sedan.

Ideally the $20 should get you something other than a spot. This was my first time going and I thought it was great. The $40 before 9 thing is kinda sh1tty. But, IMO, $20 should get you a raffle ticket or 2, parking with same model cars, and a free lunch per car. Small changes would be good.

Other than that...it's $20 guys. You'd waste that picking up 2 drinks at a bar + tip....this was a whole day of something we're passionate about.

Wierd. Could have sworn it said something about it somewhere this year. I know for sure they were very clear about it last year, so maybe I'm just thinking of that

I agree though... the front page of Bimmerfest is TERRIBLE! Just looking for the link to get into the forums is like finding Waldo

A chick who needs to take off those enormous glasses before I make any sort of judgment......

I had a blast this year... couldn't really put faces to cars because when I recognized a car the owner was obviously no where near it haha. I have a few pics I'll post up when I get back to my place.. wish I would've had a sharpie to write on brandon's bumper though also saw my old RH's on that black coupe I'm hoping to make the 3k+ mile drive over there next year too
