Factory stereo stopped working

So today I turned on the car and the factory stereo has completely stopped working. Dead as a dodo. I checked the fuses in the glove box compartment and they both looked good. I'll try changing them anyway later on even though I cannot see any fault.

The stereo is a bmw business CD (in dash unit, no changer) and the car is a 2001 330ci.

I could use some help figuring this out. What's the next step? Any suggestions? Advice dearly appreciated.

lol, nope. It's totally random. Last night it was working perfectly. The only thing I did last night was open the fuse compartment but I didn't fiddle with anything and then I closed it right back up. This morning I turned on the car and the stereo is completely dead. So annoying....

Any help???

Did you check the fuse behind the head unit itself? You will have to remove the head unit from the dash be able to see it.
