Adding to the communal knowledge base...

Hey all,

I posed a question several weeks back in regards to M3 wheels on a non-M. After clarifying that the wheels I wanted to use were the OEM M3 winter wheels (68 series), I received mixed opinions if they would fit or not (since the rear had an offset of 25mm.

Well I got them on today and they fit great. I am a little jealous of all of you guys with 18" wheels but here in Pittsburgh the roads eat them alive. Anyways the car runs great and I like the look of having the wheels appear staggered but they are all the same size tire.

Here are a few pics. Thanks for all your input.

Next up is clears...

These rims were available on the 330ci sport package for a couple years (like 2002-2005 or something). but they were staggered with non M offsets. I didn't really want staggered wheels and I got a great deal on these so that's what I went with. They also sell these in a replica wheel with a 35mm offset all around. These wheels are OEM with M offsets. They were available for the M as a winter option.

My Ride: changes too much
yea stock 330ci sport wheels... nice upgrade. definetly one of the nicer looking stock wheels. and FYI you can still stuff a nice amount of tire on an 18" wheel. 19's are where you start worrying.

sorry team persia the 330 sport package wheels were staggered. 17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5 with non M offsets. the wheels I put on mine are OEM M3 wheels and all 4 are 17 x 7.5 with separate offsets front and rear. as earlier stated they were a winter wheel option for the M3.

The M68 was offered for the 330 with the sports package. There's another edition that came as a factory option which is slightly modified to fit over the M3's bigger brakes. It looks like you got the M-offset ones, but they did come for the 330 as well. That said, they look good! Now you need a drop

My car came with style 45's on it. I liked those but two where bent when I bought it. I switched the wheels out for winter but needed something to switch back to. I liked the look of these but didn't really want to stagger the sizes (i don't know why) and I found these local for a great price. the guy I bought them from said they came off a friends 2003 M3 but I never saw the car and he only had them because he wanted the tires that were on them.
