Polk Audio Monitor Series Speakers
i am looking to upgrade my home theater system and came across these. the price seems reasonable and the reviews ive been reading are for the most part pretty positive.
center is between the cs1 or cs2. fronts are between 60 or 70 towers. surrounds are between 30 or 40. they will be used primarily for blu-ray/tv watching. very little music listening. i know member glockman always recommends Polks, im just not sure if these are one of the good ones or not. which ones would you guys recommend out of the ones mentioned? what do you guys think about them? I am a polk dealer and have polks in my house and my cars.
I love them. I feel that they are one of the best values in speakers. They carry an entire line, so usually when someone says something bad about them they are talking about the low line. Anyway, whatever your budget is, Polk is a great choice.

Similar to the RTi series. They are discontinued. If you dont mind the size and are getting a good deal (25% or more off retail) then you should be happy. Try to find someone who carries the TSi line if you want good overall cheap. We had the VM10s in the demo room and they were amazing for size. I have LSi/LCi speakers and love them. (more money, better sound) The LSi9s dropped to MSRP of $999 per pair and they have outstanding reviews including ones from people who hate large manufacturers. Speakers are 100% subjective. You have to listen to them in your home with your equipment.

i would tell you to get the monitor 60's with the monitor 40's (since they are the same size cone so they will match better) and definately get the cs2 (its loads better than the cs1)
