Would you buy a 04 330 that is S/C with 100k???

Well just like the title stats...would you??

I have the opportunity to buy an 04 330 with an active autowerkes stage 1. Also has M3 exhaust and headers...the buy part is it has 100,000 miles.

The previous owner bought it from the original owner already s/c'd so I am unaware of when it was installed....

I'm going to get a compression test, anything else I should be concerned about?!? Thanks guys...new to E46's but not BMWs I've had a few MInis!!!

Make sure its not lean up top (RPM range)...

does it have boost/AFR guages? most important is AFR but boost is useful as well, if it has a AFR guage you can easily tell if the tune is good or not, your AFRs should be around 12ish under WOT with a supercharged car and 14ish when cruising

For 9K it seems good.
However that can also be the too good to be true kinda deal.

Oh my lord!!!! i found the EXACT car on this very site!!!! i knew i would, just a little research!!!! This is the car, i guess with only 4,000 more miles. So i guess after finding this, the guy I'm buying it from is the 3rd owner....hopefully ill be the 4th hahaha. let me know what y'all think!?!?!?!

Get it all check out. Most cars run lean up to with the ms54 DME...

Nope I'm buying it from a guy who bought it from blown330....I PM'd blown to ask him all the mods since the guy I'm buying it from Isn't sure...I will 100% get it looked at.

Do a compression and a LEAK down test at your expense. Find out how much oil it burns per 1000 miles. That is very important.

I saw the car when blown330ci has it. Met him a few times at car meets (great guy). Car run great but I know that he has a check engine light on it due to the O2 sensors. Not sure if that was fix or not. After he bought it from the dealership, he added the CF hood, CSL bumper and BBS LM rep. I haven't seen it in a while (over a yr) so I can't comment on it. Go with what the other guys suggested to check.

BTW, you probably won't get a response back from blown330ci.

9k seems too good to be true. Be wary. Cars without superchargers cost more for the same amount of miles.
