Mystery connector behind mirror connector?
While I was installing my new sedan mirrors, I noticed an unused 2-pin connector directly beneath the 6-pin mirror connector.
I have a 1999 323i so I don't believe I have the (connected to fuse 57) euro-fold capabilities. However, I tried to plug in the 2-pin wires from my mirrors and they fit perfectly. There are a total of four connectors in the door. 2 for the speakers (where the blue connector is in the photo), 1 for the side mirror, and the unknown 2-pin connector. The same setup exists on both the passenger and driver's side. Anyone know what this could possibly be? Tried a search and came up with nothing. |

I was just doing some research for my power fold retrofit and found your lonely post lol
Seems like your car is pre-wired for the auto fold mirrors. Unlike mine
