Brakes time! Are the TMS packages the best deal out there?

Ive got the ATE PremiumOne slotted rotors with Axxis Ultimates, and it's a very VERY solid, capable setup.

Since the opinion of the TMS package is not so high, what are the options for a OEM replacement in terms of pricing and place to buy. I am not looking to upgrade, just replace worn down brakes.

Id go with the Stoptech kit from modbargains, Actually I did and I had no complaints. They beat the crap out of stock well worth the $

Our stock is for the pads are in US.

how much for just front/rear pads if I already have rotors?

If you are really not interested in upgrading or experimenting with something new I would buy ALL OEM 4 wheel set from Tishner. You will know exactly what you are getting and how it will perform/feel.

Use what you want. I'm just passing on what he told me. I use performance friction pads on BMW rotors.

When I called Turner they said they could not determine precisely what rotors would be used to fill the order but that they were all oem such as Brembo, Balo and Zimmermann. It's the luck of the draw. I'd prefer knowing what I am buying but I seriously doubt anyone can tell the difference on the car.

Regarding the pads comparing Akebono to Metal Masters is apple and oranges. The cost is 100% more for the Akebono. Both are low dust but from what I can determine the Akebono need some heat before they start working well.

All four slotted and drilled Centric rotors (Stoptech/Powerslot) and Hawk Ceramic/HPS for $231. That's a deal.... F&^K the rest.

Perhaps they do rust I won't argue that and I agree other with special coatings are better but everything better comes at a cost.

Balo cannot be OEM, I refuse to believe it. My OEM have lasted about 90K, I've heard of Balo's not making it two months.

The cost of the pads is stupid cheap but I don't trust those rotors. They don't look like any Centric I see on other sites and they apparently do the cross drilling themselves.

Hmmm, so i guess my mech who works at turner, and is a certified BMW master mechanic tells me the rotors aren't the same as the ones from the stealer i should just disregard his comments and listen to some dude from texas.

Yeah, might happen.
