A Beretta over under that you had handed to you? I hope you shoot trap or skeet or hunt fowl because that's a GREAT field gun.

I do shoot skeet every once in a while but I'm kinda approaching use of these with caution...they are in really good shape and might be collector-worthy. Not really sure I wanna be taking it out for use yet...

as long as you keep it in good shape...shooting a gun like that won't hurt it...condition the wood, oil the metal...I have a few like it...it's a crime not to shoot them.

I know...it is a bit of a crime. I'll prob end up shooting them.

I don't have alot of experience with gun upkeep though...I have some light rusting on the barrels of a few of them, what should I do? I saw they have re-bluing kits but I'm not sure thats something I should be jumping into

DAVE!!!!! its 2 AM and i JUST got back from the walmart off of turkey lake near lake buena vista lol and i bought the LAST 3 boxes of .45 auto at a walmart out there lol

store policy was that since there was a shortage of ammo i was only allowed to buy one, and granted there was even a sign that said limit one per customer, and that they werent allowed to sell ammo past 9 PM, the assistant manager was cool enough to sell me all 3 boxes lol

WIN!!!

take them to a reputable gun shop, and tell him that you want to learn how to care for it...he'll sell you some products to help keep them clean and you'll be set...and note by reputable gun shop I mean one that sells these kind of guns...not a big chain...the shop should do gun smithing as well as gun sales.

Last time I went to wal-mart I bought 28 boxes of ammo.

The cashier looked at me like I was crazy.

I just growled.

i still cant find 9mm. were getting .40 at every walmart trip though.

how does federal stack up against winchester? its cheaper to get a 50 rd federal and a 50 rd blazer together than a 100rd winchester.

federal > blazers > winchester

If you want I'll have a look around up here for 9mm...not sure how much cheaper I can get it to you than something like gunbroker (shipping is a *****) but I'll check it out if you want

So I took my finds out 2 days ago for a little shooting in the back field...

Wow. I completely underestimated the .22-250 round. That thing packs a serious punch, even more than my AR...very impressive and very accurate with the scope. That 30-30 Winchester is also a blast to shoot, for a while until your arm falls off...must have put 200 rounds down range the other day between a 12 gauge, the .22-250, and the 30-30...have a nice bruise now but man was it fun
