The time has come!

I have to make a decision and I can't make one.

The Visions weigh in the vicinty of 26lbs
The SSR's weigh about 18.

Does anyone know how much the stock type 44's weigh?

OH, if I went with the SSR's they would be GT1's not GT3's like in the pictures. I just used the gt3's for reference.

Thanks to B for the quick p-shop job he did for me.

Which do you think looks best. I'm split right down the middle.

for the sake of weight savings alone, the SSRs are the way to go IMO.

Ok so I did a and found the weight of the 44's are about 25lbs for just the rim and 45 for both tire and rim.

My question to you guys, is the extra pound on the visions really that detrimental to the performance of a car?

I really like the look and price of the visions, but I love the idea of shaving weight on wheels with the GT1's

You won't notice 1 lb. extra weight for the wheels. But your tires may be a lb. or two heavier as well, depending upon the make, size, etc. because of more rubber and stiffer sidewalls.

Both rims are beautiful, but my next set of rims are definitely going to be under 20 lbs. I want to look good AND perform better.

Dyam thats a tough decision!! You cant go wrong with either. If it was my decision, it would come down to this:
Visions:
-Easy to clean
-No lip
-Unique Design
-26 lbs.
-Silver or High Polish Finish
-Softer wheel

SSR GT1:
-Easy to clean
-Nice Lip
-Silver or Satin Finish
-Harder than Breytons
-Shows more rotor (Get a bbk)

Also think about how it'll look like while you're driving or rolling.
Im split down the middle too. Good Luck deciding.

I thought the Vision was 28 lbs. & I am also pretty sure the SSR's weigh 19lbs not that it's a big deal or anything . . .
