High frq buzz from radio and CD

Hi all,

i have a problem with my 2003 E46 with Nav MkIV and HK.

When I turn on the radio I simply get a high frequency buzz... it happens both in Radio mode and in CD mode (I have the single CD in the dashboard)

Any ideas on what could be wrong? Has someone had the same problem?

No aftermarket equipment added?

No, no aftermarket equipment added. Just the factory installed MKIV with the Harman Kardon option.

It gives the problem both with radio and cd.
