Ah

Hey Dido,

There is a really cool guy on that sells a double DIN "kit" (or any of the individual parts you would need):

Rich Silva [srcstc@mybimmer.net]

Check it out.

Have you bought the AC reloaction brackets yet? Do you smoke? Neither of these is for the ashtray... different part # if you want the light next to the ashtray

here's a pretty thorough DIY for the double din:

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=572795

if you search in the DIY section, there's plenty of threads there.

I have completed this double din install yesterday, everything works great! no leaks in vent, opens and closes fine. I have installed the JVC KW-NX7000. I am pretty familiar with installing car steareos, however, I am unsure if the radio harness is just plug and play because I am reading these forums and it seems the colors from the bmw harness might not match the colors of the harness I purchased.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to match up the wires. I had the business cd player with no navigation and no Harmon Kardon.

I don't want to accidentally ground a wire that goes to the battery or something
