Aren't they usually $599 each? That would be $100, or 17% mark-down, right? Well for open-box I would look for 30% or more unless I was going to make the purchase anyway - in that case the seller just leaves money on the table... But then that's my math.

True. One box was not even opened though. I take that back, it was opened when it came back to confirm everything was in it. We could be a 'sneaky company' and just sell it as new and never tell anyone and no one would be the wiser.

We choose to offer a fair discount on NEW product and keep the free shipping. You will also find that many 'open box' deals at other retailers are no refunds, no returns no exceptions. Our open box deals carry the same 30 day satisfaction guarantee and warranty

HK = harmon kardon or premium sound.

It would add a little bit more power to the stock system and HK equipped BMWs have factory 'subwoofers'.

More like factory "pancakes" than subs... But then there's no sub in a mid-bass world for the steely eared.

I think I might be interested in the non hk coupe set if you still have it. Maybe I'll give you a call in the morning regarding the order!

Could any of these sets work in an HK Coupe or you could you add/swap out what would be necessary to make it work in my HK Coupe?

Unfortunately no. We would have to basically swap the whole thing.

What brand are these speakers for the non-hk sedan? I think I heard they're made by alumapro? Are they fine with factory head unit amplification?

On a side note, how do the Rainbows compare to the previous MB Quartz set-up?
