You may have already seen this, but there is a DIY to paint the tank black.

Is the empty "drug bin" a US spec thing, in the euro spec cars the brake booster is in that compartment.

The ECU and master cylinder are in the left side, the right side is empty unless you have an XI or an M3

Yeah, I was a bit confused at first. But I think the steering rack is in the way in our RHD cars, and our ABS unit had to be relocated to that area.

Careful with that Performance BMW CF Strut bar... Its flimsy...

I was checking over one at the stealer and it cracked when I applied pressure to the ends to simulate load...

I like your Drug Bin Cover. I got taken to the cleaners by Charles over on M3 Forums. The one he built for me is falling apart...

I inquired to Charles about making my Kingsford into a Carbon Fiber finish. He is looking for $75 to do it. Is that fair?

I was thinking I could just buy a 24x48 panel and make a few for roughly the same price.

Actually I stand corrected. I saw the ABS unit in that area in a 2003 E46 coupe today.

Thanks...may be transitioning this piece to carbon fiber:

If anyone is looking to do this, you may find it easier to relocate the switch first.
Instructions on how to do that can be found right here:

I'm sorry, it's proprietary information
