I have a 2001 330i and I love the look of the angel eyes.. but I don't have xenons. Bad idea?

You don't have to have xenons for angel eyes, but it will look a bit out of place. Consider some P46 headlight replacements which have both.

It will look fine, just as good as if you had xenons. Not out of place at all.

The only difference is when the headlights are on the low beam angel eye will be "washed out", but the high beam angel eye will still be clearly visible.

Go for it you will not be disappointed!

It's the same dam everything.

The only difference is you don't have a little dome shaped light.

I have one and I love it, but there is a big con to it compared to the xenons. because on the halogens, the rings are inside the loop which has more heat generated on the inside from the halogen bulbs that has caused some melting on the backing of the angel eyes. But my led's angel are eyes are still working fine, except one did burn out in about a year, but I just got a free replacement for it.

They fit great and they look great, although the Orion V2s look a little odd with their smaller diameter rings.

thanks guys for the replies, I ordered a set of Umnitza Chromiums 8000k.... I can't wait about 2 weeks, my paint will be done... So far the project is:

Hail damage repair - new hood, deck lid and roof paint
18" M6 reps on Dunlops
control arms, poly bushings and tie rods/sway bars connects
smoked signals, markers and tail lights..
retinted the windows
blackout the window trim.

Pondering an Mtech bumper and CF interior trim

Not a bad idea if you like the angel eye look. I would do a Projector46 upgrade if you want a complete headlight replacement but if it's just the angel eyes you are after, they look good in halogens.

Depends, if you get the Orion V2, they are strong enough not to be washed out entirely.

But yes, with with Xenons, it looks a lot better:

Nope, the MyCarr 62 LEDs were only offered in one version however they have since been replaced by the MyCarr 81+ LEDs we now carry.

angel eyes + fogs if you don't have xenons and they will look very unique at night.

Those are HID fogs, check out Bimmian, they have a solid kit called Xenoflo.
