Aftermarket HU Harness
Can anyone point me to the wiring behind the factory deck? I'd love to have the whole wiring from the harness back there but I really need which is the remote lead.
I'm installing an aftermarket HU and the harness I've got doesn't include a Remote lead (for the factory amp). I've got constant 12v, ignition, ground, illumination and power antennae leads left over after front/rear speakers on the harness. I will be replacing the factory amp and speakers in a few months and wanted to get my HU working for the time being. |

I think the power antenna is really the remote for the FM booster and amp turn-on. I don't think there is really a power extending/retracting antenna as this name was originally intended for. Use the remote lead from your aftermarket HU here instead of the power antenna one or you may find that only your radio will have sound.

Thank you so much. Actually had a change of plans.
Went ahead and ordered some speakers and an amp. Massive Audio CK5 for the front and CK6 for the back. Massive Audio P400.4 to power them. Couple of weeks I should be getting my trx1000d and t5-10. |
