pic request: aftermarket Mtech 2 rear
gf backed my car up into a light post in a parking lot.
Thinking of replacing bumper w/ an aftermarket type M-Tech II rear bumper. If anyone can provide me with some pics of fitment (preferably on a sedan but doesn't matter) I would appreciate it. Aftermarket MTII = $350 or less OE MTII = $700 through tischer! ($1200 for same package thru dealer!)

![]() I think mine is aftermarket but I'm not sure. It was so long ago I can't remember. I certainly don't remember paying $700 for it. |

I just read in one of the thread they don't make an aftermarket Mtech2 rear, so IDK. I know I didn't pay $700.
I don't know about that but it will have something from an M3 on it soon |

There are aftermarket MTech bumpers out there.... I want to know if they fit aightttttt... like do the seams line up? is it quality? Can you even tell its not oem?

Don't replace an OEM bumper with aftermarket if it's the same thing! Go get your bumper repaired and resprayed for probably cheaper than an aftermarket POS...

It really is worth it to save up and go OEM, even if it takes an extra 6 months. I've never seen a replica product fit the way I want it to, on any car, ever. My arqray replica lip fit like ass, that's why I had to mold it.

I've seen aftermarket ones, but there is no way to tell the difference once they're painted and fitted (if it is done by a professional). If not, you can tell by the fitment. The sensor holes are smaller than OEM in case you get one with parking system.

I am going brand new OEM. I don't want to wonder what the results will be.
I have this bumper up for sale now. Lightly damaged, repairable $300 obo (shipped at buyers expense) if anyone would like pictures pm me your personal email address and I'll forward some pics your way.
