The Replacement, 330i Project starts...

Well after my run-in with mother nature, http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=941291 I needed a new ride. Here's the replacement to my '94 325i that sacrificed itself to save my hyde. Calypso 325i may you rest in peace.

Anyway, Hello 2002 330i.

Less than 24hours of owning the car, it was time for mods.
I bought semi-clears from the dealer, $230 for the complete rear set, a bargain!

Then I took a drive to Bonerts scrap yard and got black trim peices to remove the wood interior trim. I will install it in a day or two.

I installed the clears, looks alot better!

General km to mile tip. Always remember, 100kph is 62mph

So 140k is about 80k miles.

Those are NOT really Z8 wheels are they? I don't think so, anyone?

These wheels come stock on the 330i in South Africa.
I managed to find an Individual front bumper at the scrap yard today, so I won't be getting the M3 front bumper any more.

Other plans include OEM xenons, sport seats, tint and a decat.

thats crazy... they just have perfectly good e46 parts laying around at a scrap yard in S.A.?

I like where your car is headed, the M-TechII will look great.

Throw some nicer wheels and a drop on the car aswell....

In South Africa BMWs are very popular, we also have BMW plants building them here aswell. Our scrap yards strip and part-out cars instead of crushing them so 2nd hand parts are freely available.

I do have some M contours with a polished dish which I will try out, if they look bad then I will get some 18" CSL replicas. As far as dropping it, no go. This is my daily drive and the stock suspension is low enough, plus the roads aren't that good here. My E36 is my race car/ weekend toy and is slammed on coil-overs.
