For All The Newbies Here...

As someone noted earlier, there seems to be alot of new posters here. Well, I finally finished wiring this last week, so here's something for ya. These pics are old, but you get the idea. Now, the car starts the normal way or by turning the key to the 2nd position and pushing the Start Button. Cool, huh? For anyone who cares to see it, I will be at Bimmerfest on the 20th.

Can you still use the key like you did before to start the car?

Thanks. I would've preferred to have installed those Brembos you got instead, but I've got other things to pay for right now...like my um, taxes which I still have to do tonight.

Sweet! I like your engine start button better than mine, Shinobi. Is that the "Z8" button?

Speaking of 007....

I was watching "The World is not Enough" today (awful movie) and noticed when he pulls the E-Brake its a two tone Titanium one (matching the trim in my 2002 ci). I wonder if anyone knows the part number or if it would fit our cars?

I Don't Have the Part No.

The button I ordered from this guy: E36kk318@aol.com

$135 - Its comes prewired. That is, all you have to do is plug in the green and yellow wires to the ignition wiring in the steering column using wire-taps and either ground the black wire or hook it up to the e-brake.
