My Ride: 2002 325ci
My e46 coupe

Hello fanatics I am 16 years old and new to this forum/all forums since i've never participated in one. I was looking for my first car and I was dead set on getting a 240sx and modifying it. However plans went south and even though I was going to pay for the car, my parents wouldn't let me get it. Well i sat around for a month at least looking for another candidate and at last i found the perfect one!

A 2002 325ci from the original owner, in great condition. Sport package, cold weather package, and premium package. He was asking $4000 for it due to getting a job offer in Germany so he no longer needed it and so my parents and I immediately went to check it out. He was a straight shooter, told me everything he knew about it, then proceeded to hand me a folder about an inch thick with every single receipt and maintenance record he has had since he bought the car new. Also he had a packet listing all the things he's had replaced and general maintenance, all done at the dealer! It had 133,500 miles on it when i bought it at the end of august last summer.

I plan on keeping her for ever if I can. So without further words, here are some pictures!

After a while i got tired of the silver wheels and being almost winter, i wasn't going to buy nice rims and put them on in the salt and snow.

So far i've also added the zhp weighted shift knob, along with a B&M short shift kit. I've done a valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, cleaned the ICV, and replaced the lower intake boot on my own. I've also had the muffler and 2 resonators removed by a shop and i love the sound! I plan on doing all repairs myself because I find it fun and it saves money. There will be more mods once summer comes and I make more money, but for now this is it! Hope you all enjoy.

Wink Good job

Im glad to see you taken to your car. And the tech work you doing it by yourself will save you money. also keep the maintenance book current because that a BIGGG resale factor should it ever happen. Enjoy your car because I definitely miss mine

Thanks guys! The car has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner and I am trying to do the same. It bothers me when things aren't perfect so I try my best to fix them.

Also, i fixed the oil leaks that were due to the valve cover and the oil filter gasket, however, after I did those I did an oil change. Everything underneath is dry and I don't get any black smoke, but the oil level is still dropping. It has gone down to about half way after a thousand miles but now seems to be staying there at the moment. When I had the valve cover off i did notice that on the exposed camshaft (i'm not sure if it's intake or exhaust) one of the cam lobes seemed like it had some flattened down spots a little. I didn't take any pictures or give it much thought because I was trying to finish before sundown. Any input would be great!
