yeah actually i'm a couple days away from receiving my new mirror from sybesmas as well. what's crazy is that in the recent insanity that is southern california's heat, the oval on my mirror without the electrochromatic liquid turned grey, as if it got burnt... it sucks at reflecting in that section especially now

Can I do this even if my mirror is not leaking yet? i want to prevent this from happening. Also, do they send you the new one first then you send your back or the other way around?

thanks for the link.

so i have an 03 M3 with the oval auto dimming mirror and its leaking.. would they replace it with the same exact mirror (oval, and auto dimming) or some other mirror like a rectangular one, or one that doesnt auto-dim, etc?

You'll get the same one. That's what the pictures and numbers are for, to make sure they find you one that matches.

I just did this a couple weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Just go through the same process. They will send you whatever mirror you have. I have a square one.

I used Sybesmas a couple months ago. Installed new mirror in 2 mins for under $100, no problem. Highly recommend.

Hmmm. Searched for hours, forums as well as web. Pretty consistent result is that Magna Donelly is not doing it anymore and Sybesmas for $75. Also sent emails to Magna Donelly but no response...

Any information you can share? Thanks!

Can the form be filled out electronically and emailed back with the photos attached or does it have to be printed, filled out and mailed back along with actual photographs?

I just used it on our 330I. They didn't have any of our mirror in stock (has sos) but they fixed it really quick and it works great!

Just wanted to say that you guys are great. Saved me a bunch of money. If anyone ever doubts the worth of forums like these, they are nuts.
