E46 Front Driver Side Rattle - Mystery

Hey guys, just joined this site so please be patient.

I have a 2001 E46 325Ci. 65,000 Miles.

Car is in mint condition.

Problem; There are two rattling noises coming from the front driver side wheel area.

The first is a low, dull rattle, made worse when going over speed bumps etc. You can feel it coming through the car.

The second is a light, tinny rattling noise which appears to be coming from the same area.

I have taken the car to a BMW specialist. This is what's happened.

1) He replaced the control arms and wishbone. He done an extensive search for the rattle, couldn't find it.

2) He suggested the problem was the front shocker. We replaced it and still the problem continues.

I am now over 500 down and he has told me is cant be a mechanical issue as he cant find a single part which could cause the rattle.

Sorry for the long rant, I am annoyed and out of pocket.

Any suggestions?
