Exclamation Tischer

I didn't think Tischer carried the clear OEM corners anymore. Has someone bought them recently? I emailed a couple weeks ago and while I think I was asking about the RCR tails, he made it sound like they didn't have non-BMW USA parts.

In Nick's defense by the way, most people on these boards see Depos as the best and only non-OEM option. They are a lot cheaper and apparently basically look and fit just like OEMs (except for the little stamp I guess). When you show a picture of a clear corner, it is natural for Nick to say that he carries those. Most people see the Depos as a very acceptable alternative to OEM, especially based on the price being less than half for basically the same look and product.

Caveat emptor.....

Ok, disregard everything I have said. I just got the Depos and they look great. I was mislead by the pic posted above by jose. There are no lines running across the lense on these like in his pic. These look exactly like the OEM except for the depo stamp, which isn't that big of a deal. Sorry, Nick. No way I would pay double for OEM (provided there are not fittment issues, lol) Even though, technically, these aren't exactly what I had, It's all good this time. lol Now to go put these suckers on. . .

Once you finish pls re-post your thoughts on fitment as well as feel and quality of construction when you hold it side by side with your OEM one.

I still haven't bought mine and always like some more impressions of the Depos vs OEMs

Thanks

They fit perfect, 5 minute install. If it weren't for the Depo stamp you'd never know the difference. Glad it worked out the way it did.
And holding them side by side they feel and weigh the same. Seems to be same quality. Actually, and I know some will argue, but the seal looks better and fits better in the hole than the OEM ones did. I guess it's just because the OEM ones are older and the seal is worn, but still is fact.

Yeah, I'm really happy with them.

And BTW you cannot get the OEM ones from an American dealer anymore according to Tischer.

The Bimmian.com site has a good pic of how mine look. The pic on JleviSW is too small to see, but I'd go with JlevisSW for the fast as heck delivery. Got mine in 2 days.

Yeah Bimmian has nice picture but not so nice prices!

Did you go with silvered bulbs or are you just going stock amber?

I still have the stock and really I don't know if I'll spend the money for the silver. I sort of like the look as is for now. Maybe I'll wait to see if one burns out then just replace both with the silver. I've spent so much on this car in the last couple of months, I keep telling myself NOTHING ELSE!!!! but you guys know how it is, lol.

Excellent, glad you like them. All of the DEPOs we carry are the same, exact OEM replicas save for the DEPO stamp.

Just to be clear - the whole reason you got into this was because the OEM one you had was leaking/condensating on the drivers' side?
