Extended OCI oil report

not really sure where to put this.. mods will move it for me im sure.

Impressed with this oil. I will knock it back to 12,500 OCI, but other than that i think this is very very good stuff for our bimmers. The wear levels don't surprise me, there was some cold start mornings i was in a rush, and some pretty hard drives on this oil but still.. that's parts PER MILLION.. sooo yeah. its not that bad.

was using a napa gold filter. .

oh and btw.. if you are using Ultra Euro, or you want to.. stock up on it now. Dodge dealers have it. they are changing over to a new product called Pennzoil PlatinumŽ Euro Full Synthetic motor oil with PurePlus Technology (long ass name) not sure how it will compare to ultra so Id like to have a supply of what i know works.

Good oil. TBN is low I'd go for 10,000 mile oci then retest.

I think the reason the TBN was so low is from cleaning the engine and reacting with the carry over oil, since its the first time using this oil. Plus it was a half quart low, so between adding a little oil next time, changing the filter, and the motor is much cleaner now (i can tell from the valve cover, i had it off with both german castrol and the pennzoil after a few thousand miles) the TBN should bump up a little. The fuel problem is fixed now to, so that should help out the TBN as well.
