Hello All -- I can't claim to know much about BMW's yet but my 330i is far and away the best drive I've ever owned. It will be great to participate in the website and learn everything E46. Meanwhile: what customizations do you think I should do with it, if any?

painted moldings may help the look too, but they are not needed. A blackout grill if you like 'em

Welcome to the forums.

First things first, Clear corners for the front side and rear will clean it up quite a bit. Next, I would search for a nice set of wheels + suspension (shock/strut combo). These mods would both improve handling and aesthetics.

You can find really good deals in our classifieds too, just search around till you find what you like. Looking through a thread with similar colored cars (TiAG) helps alot with decisions as well.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought,
but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
