Does this part pose any danger if loose?(diagram inside)

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...88&hg=11&fg=50

part#1

This part is mounted on 3 or 4 rubber "legs". Somehow a few of mine broke off and its mounted on only 1. From what i gather this isnt anything serious but i just want to make sure. Can any1 reassure me of this, or prove otherwise?

It should be fine because it is not a heavy part, nor is there a lot of vibrations.

Secondary air runs only 2 minutes if the engine is cold. The tube to the exhaust valve is held by a heavy duty clamp. So loss of mounts should not effect things. Time for wire ties?

i'll figure something out before it starts getting cold here. Its weird that bmw discontinued selling any mounts for this (as noted in the diagram). If the mounts break we're supposed to buy a new pump for $500?

me too, it's been broken for quite some time now. it just shakes a little on cold idles, maybe i'll tie it down with a zip-tie or something, one of these days.
