Rear seat lighting


As you can tell by the specs above, the 4 rear pillar lights have a different color than the other lights. In this pic, you can see the difference. Not too bad, but there is a difference.

Not sure why they are not working. I uploaded them to E46fanatics server. I tested this on a few computers here in the office and it seems to be working.

It does take it a few seconds to load them all.

In the last "license plate" pic, are those the 6 or the 9 LED?

They are the 6 LED. I think the 9 LED is too wide too fit.

Why are the rear pillar lights a different temperature? Is this common with led lighting kits? It seems kind of tacky to me

damn all the vendors are getting their stuff from the same suppliers. anyhow it looks nice. but do you have any pictures of the normal interior lights. the 5 bulbs that actually come on when you unlock the car. i know for the rear pillars it's not as bright as it is in the those pictures

Different LEDs have different color temperatures. The reason we had to use those LEDs for the back is because they are the only ones that can fit through the small hole in the back.

Unfortunately, I have had LEDs in my car for so long, I do not have the stock bulbs anymore. Not sure where others get their products from, but the pictures are pretty darn close to what it looks like in real life (at least on my monitor). Of course, there are so many variables, like computer and monitor settings etc.. Plus it is hard to take a picture of light with a point and shoot camera.

Also, the pic of the back is with all 4 lights (along with all the front lights) turned on.

If/when a few people purchase our LEDs, I will let them speak for the results

Thanks for the offer, however, all the "guinea pig" testing has laready been done. We fully tested the LEDs prior to offering them to the masses

We do not have the rear pillar lights in that temp. However, if you take apart the rear light housing, you may be able to fit the same LED that goes in the dome & map lights for a uniform color temp.

The total without the license plate lights is $71.91. That includes the 20% discount.

Shipping via 1st class mail international is ony $1 different so don't worry about it. If you want it sent Prioriy international, it will be an additional $12.

I tried to fit the F39 HP9 (the LED with 9 LEDs) into the license plate and they did fit. However, the light output was the same. Here is a pic. can anyone tell which side has the 9 LED and which one has the 6 LED?


I think this has to do with the little black square on the lens. It blocks some of the light.
